From Feb 9-10, our team escaped to Chongming Island for a spring retreat. Day 1 featured our year-end review meeting, followed by team games and a warm dinner. Day 2 brought creative crafting sessions and collaborative challenges. Though brief, these two days refreshed us amidst nature and strengthened our bonds. SABIC DU242 PEI: The Perfect Balance of High Flow and Low-Temperature Toughness SABIC ULTEM™ DU242 is a polyetherimide (PEI) blend engineered for complex parts and demanding environments. Its key strengths lie in the unique combination of high flowability (for easy processing of thin-wall, intricate geometries) and enhanced low-temperature impact resistance, while maintaining a Heat Deflection Temperature of 160°C and UL94 V-0 flame rating. SABIC ULTEM™ 2310 is a 30% glass fiber-reinforced polyetherimide (PEI) resin that combines excellent flowability, ultra-high strength (tensile strength up to 169 MPa), and inherent flame retardancy (UL94 V0 & 5VA). It features a heat deflection temperature of 210–220°C, continuous use from -160°C to 180°C, and very low mold shrinkage (0.2%–0.6%). The medical grade (HU2310) offers ISO 10993 or USP Class VI biocompatibility and withstands multiple sterilization methods. Ideal for medical devices, high-temperature connectors, semiconductor tooling, and aerospace/automotive components, ULTEM™ 2310 is the all round ace for demanding injection molding applications.
