SABIC CY6414-701 is a halogen-free flame-retardant PC/ABS alloy from the CYCOLOY™ series. It offers high heat resistance (HDT 118°C at 1.8MPa, Vicat 135°C), high flowability (MFR 14g/10min at 260°C/5.0kg), and excellent impact strength (notched Izod 800J/m). The non halogen (chlorine and bromine free) flame retardant system achieves UL94 V 0 at 1.2mm and 5VB at 2.5mm, meeting strict environmental regulations. SABIC NORYL™ 731S-701S is a high-flow, high-impact injection molding grade black Polyphenylene Oxide (PPO) material. It is opaque, with a notched impact strength of 80–90 kJ/m² and a heat deflection temperature of 130–135°C. Its melt flow index is more than 50% higher than that of standard PPO, making it ideal for rapid molding of thin-wall, long-flow-path, and complex molds. Optimized mold release design reduces drag marks and improves yield. This black material delivers a high-gloss, light-blocking surface. Some batches offer V-2 flame retardancy and UV stability. It is widely used in electronic housings, automotive interior light-blocking parts, medical light-avoidance components, and safety goggle frames.
