PES is a high-performance specialty engineering plastic. Thanks to its unique molecular structure, it maintains excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability even under long-term high-temperature environments (above 180°C). It also offers transparency, hydrolysis resistance, flame retardancy, and is BPA-free. Widely used in medical devices (e.g., reusable sterilizable instruments), electronics (high-temperature connectors), and automotive components, PES is a critical material for high-end industrial and technological products.

PFAS, known as “forever chemicals,” are a large group of fluorinated substances with extremely stable carbon-fluorine bonds that resist degradation in the environment and pose health risks. In engineering plastics, fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA, and PVDF are used either as base materials or processing aids to provide heat resistance, low friction, and non-stick properties.
