NORYL is a NORYL resin owned by SABIC. NORYL was previously a trademark of GE and is the symbol of polyphenylene ether (PPO) resins in the group. It is one of the world's five major general engineering plastics. They combine the high heat resistance of polyphenylene ether resins at a low cost, good electrical properties, excellent hydrolytic stability, and the ability to be packaged with halogen-free flame retardants, with excellent dimensional stability, good processability, and low specific gravity.
