Its melt flow index is more than 50% higher than that of standard PPO, making it ideal for rapid molding of thin-wall, long-flow-path, and complex molds. Optimized mold release design reduces drag marks and improves yield. This black material delivers a high-gloss, light-blocking surface. Some batches offer V-2 flame retardancy and UV stability. It is widely used in electronic housings, automotive interior light-blocking parts, medical light-avoidance components, and safety goggle frames. SABIC LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ DF006ER is a 30% glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate (PC) compound that delivers outstanding rigidity, high tensile strength (up to 133 MPa), and superior heat deflection temperature (138°C at 1.8 MPa). Its excellent flowability and easy mold-release characteristics significantly improve injection molding efficiency and reduce cycle times. Moreover, the material is PFAS-free, helping customers meet stringent environmental regulations. This versatile grade finds broad applications in electrical and electronic components such as connectors and relays, automotive structural parts including instrument panels and headlamp housings, as well as pump bodies and valve assemblies.
