PPA (Polyphthalamide), a high-performance specialty engineering plastic known as the "special steel" of plastics, is quietly reshaping manufacturing. With exceptional heat resistance (long-term use at 150-180°C), high strength/rigidity, and excellent chemical resistance, PPA is an ideal material replacing traditional plastics and metals. It plays a key role in automotive electrification (e.g., charging components), electronics miniaturization (e.g., 5G antennas), and industrial extreme environments, driving industries towards lighter weight and higher performance.

PES is a high-performance specialty engineering plastic. Thanks to its unique molecular structure, it maintains excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability even under long-term high-temperature environments (above 180°C). It also offers transparency, hydrolysis resistance, flame retardancy, and is BPA-free. Widely used in medical devices (e.g., reusable sterilizable instruments), electronics (high-temperature connectors), and automotive components, PES is a critical material for high-end industrial and technological products.

BASF Ultramid® A 50H1 is a high performance PA66 grade based on a halogen free and phosphorus free flame retardant system. It achieves V 0 flammability rating while retaining the excellent mechanical strength and processability typical of polyamides. With a tensile modulus of 3800 MPa and good low temperature toughness – remaining robust even at –30°C – it resists brittle failure in harsh environments.
