With the increasing demand for high-frequency and high-speed transmission, PEI has reduced its dielectric constant to below 3.0 (at 1 GHz) through molecular structure optimization (such as the introduction of fluorinated groups), making it a core material for 5G millimeter-wave connectors.

Plastic DURACON POM (polyoxide), due to its outstanding mechanical properties and processing performance, has become an important material for many high-precision and wear-resistant parts, and its application fields are very wide.

In the wave of the low-altitude economy, engineering plastics have become an indispensable "unsung hero" for drones and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, thanks to their lightweight, high strength, and corrosion resistance. From reinforced nylon used in robust fuselages and landing gears, to polycarbonate forming transparent and impact-resistant canopy covers; from the stable performance of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) in high-temperature motor components, to the exceptional strength that carbon fiber composites provide for rotors and primary structures—engineering plastics play a critical role in reducing weight, extending range, structural design, and safety protection. They quietly support the performance breakthroughs and commercial adoption of low-altitude aircraft, serving as a vital foundation for the ascent of this new economic paradigm.

Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), hailed as "plastic gold," is a high-performance engineering plastic known for its exceptional heat and chemical resistance, inherent flame retardancy, and dimensional stability. It is widely used in automotive lightweighting/electric components, Precise electronics, and harsh industrial environments like chemical processing, providing key solutions beyond traditional materials. Choosing PPS means selecting superior reliability, longevity, and a competitive edge.

From Feb 9-10, our team escaped to Chongming Island for a spring retreat. Day 1 featured our year-end review meeting, followed by team games and a warm dinner. Day 2 brought creative crafting sessions and collaborative challenges. Though brief, these two days refreshed us amidst nature and strengthened our bonds. We return energized and united—ready to embrace the exciting journey of 2026 together!

CYCOLOY™ CX7240 is a high-performance, non-halogen flame retardant PC/ABS alloy from SABIC. It combines PC’s heat resistance and impact strength with ABS’s excellent flowability, achieving UL 94 V-0 rating down to 0.75 mm thin wall while complying with RoHS and REACH. With a density of 1.19–1.20 g/cm³, MFR of 15–18 g/10min, tensile modulus of 2600 MPa, and water absorption of only 0.20%, it delivers balanced rigidity, toughness, and dimensional stability. Ideal for thin-wall precision parts in electronics & electrical housings, rail transit, medical devices, and smart appliances. Its halogen-free system produces low smoke and low corrosive gases, solving key challenges such as thin-wall flame retardancy failure, halogen compliance risk, and narrow processing windows. CX7240 is a reliable enabler for lightweight, high-safety designs.
