They combine the high heat resistance of polyphenylene ether resins at a low cost, good electrical properties, excellent hydrolytic stability, and the ability to be packaged with halogen-free flame retardants, with excellent dimensional stability, good processability, and low specific gravity. NORYL resins have good mechanical and chemical properties and may be suitable for a wide variety of applications.

The PC/ABS alloy combines the high strength and heat resistance (110°C) of PC with the easy processability of ABS, widely used in automotive (dashboards, door handles), 3C electronics (laptop casings), communications (5G base station covers), and home appliances. It features UV resistance, flame retardancy (V-0 rating), and dimensional stability. Defects like silver streaks and warping are addressed through drying (120°C ×4h), mold temperature optimization, flow promoters, and structural design. Nano-enhanced (thermal conductivity 1.2 W/m·K) and bio-based modifications (40% carbon reduction) are expanding its applications in new energy and medical fields.

The shrinkage rate of plastic reflects the degree of dimensional reduction in a plastic part after it is removed from the mold and cooled. Factors affecting plastic shrinkage include the type of plastic, molding conditions, and mold structure. Different plastics exhibit varying shrinkage rates. Additionally, the shrinkage rate is significantly influenced by the part's shape, complexity of internal structure, and the presence of inserts.
