SABIC NORYL™ 731S-701S is a high-flow, high-impact injection molding grade black Polyphenylene Oxide (PPO) material. It is opaque, with a notched impact strength of 80–90 kJ/m² and a heat deflection temperature of 130–135°C. Its melt flow index is more than 50% higher than that of standard PPO, making it ideal for rapid molding of thin-wall, long-flow-path, and complex molds. Optimized mold release design reduces drag marks and improves yield. This black material delivers a high-gloss, light-blocking surface. Some batches offer V-2 flame retardancy and UV stability. It is widely used in electronic housings, automotive interior light-blocking parts, medical light-avoidance components, and safety goggle frames. CYCOLOY™ CX7240 is a high-performance, non-halogen flame retardant PC/ABS alloy from SABIC. It combines PC’s heat resistance and impact strength with ABS’s excellent flowability, achieving UL 94 V-0 rating down to 0.75 mm thin wall while complying with RoHS and REACH. With a density of 1.19–1.20 g/cm³, MFR of 15–18 g/10min, tensile modulus of 2600 MPa, and water absorption of only 0.20%, it delivers balanced rigidity, toughness, and dimensional stability. Ideal for thin-wall precision parts in electronics & electrical housings, rail transit, medical devices, and smart appliances. Its halogen-free system produces low smoke and low corrosive gases, solving key challenges such as thin-wall flame retardancy failure, halogen compliance risk, and narrow processing windows. SABIC LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ DF006ER is a 30% glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate (PC) compound that delivers outstanding rigidity, high tensile strength (up to 133 MPa), and superior heat deflection temperature (138°C at 1.8 MPa). Its excellent flowability and easy mold-release characteristics significantly improve injection molding efficiency and reduce cycle times. Moreover, the material is PFAS-free, helping customers meet stringent environmental regulations.
