Since 2025, multiple countries have introduced a wave of trade restrictions, with the plastics industry bearing the brunt. Thailand announced a ban on plastic waste imports, Japan fully prohibited products containing perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), the EU expanded its 16th round of sanctions against Russia to include primary aluminum imports, and the Philippines proposed a nickel ore export ban. These measures not only disrupt raw material supplies but also reshape the global plastics trade.

As a high-performance engineering material, glass fiber composites have shown wide application value in many fields due to their light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and other characteristics.

In September 2025, the Shanghai Visa Plastics team embarked on a four-day trip to western Sichuan. They tempered the team spirit amid the mountains and rivers of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, and gained innovative inspiration from the ancient Shu civilization at Sanxingdui. They supported each other during the plateau hike, practicing the corporate belief of "win-win cooperation"; facing the thousand-year-old cultural relics, the craftsmanship spirit and technological innovation resonated across time. This was not only an enhancement of team cohesion but also an in-depth awakening of professional craftsmanship. The Visa people will carry this harvest and work together to open a new chapter in plastic technology with greater enthusiasm and more solid collaboration.

BASF Ultramid® B218EV30 is a 30% glass fiber reinforced PA66/6 copolymer that delivers high rigidity, excellent thermal aging resistance, and superior surface finish. With low shrinkage, dimensional stability, and good resistance to oils and chemicals, it is widely used in automotive engine components, high-voltage connectors, relay housings, and power tool casings. This material offers an ideal balance of mechanical strength, processability, and aesthetics, making it a premium upgrade over conventional PA66 GF30 grades for demanding structural applications.

ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) are systematic guarantees of quality, environment, and safety in engineering plastics plants. Taking BASF, SABIC, and Celanese as examples, basic certifications ensure consistent production, while advanced ones like IATF 16949 open doors to automotive and medical applications.

HUNTER’s 2026 autumn team building ran Oct 16–20 from Lanzhou to Dunhuang—five days, four nights, about 1,200 km through the Hexi Corridor. Long roads and two Werewolf nights helped everyone know each other better and collaborate more smoothly.
