The early summer heat had quietly crept into Shanghai in May. On the morning of the 15th, we set off for Anji.
This was no ordinary trip – it was a two-day, one-night "recharge journey" for us, a group of partners who trust each other with our backs at work.
01 Above the Clouds – Freedom at 1,168 Meters
The three-hour drive flew by with laughter and chatter. Anji's landscape was gentler than we had imagined, but what healed us even before the scenery was the authentic farmhouse meal – old hen soup, braised pork with bamboo shoots, stir-fried seasonal vegetables… simple ingredients, yet an unexpectedly satisfying comfort.
With our stomachs full, we officially kicked off the first stop – Cloud Above Grassland.
The cable car rose slowly, leaving the city's noise behind. When we reached 1,168 meters above sea level, clouds drifted past, and the view opened up completely – rolling mountains, a sea of bamboo. For a few seconds, everyone fell silent – not to take photos, but truly awestruck.
But soon, silence was broken by screams.
On the pirate ship, the brave ones sat at the back yelling fearlessly, while the timid ones in the middle squeezed their eyes shut and shrieked. Laughter echoed across the mountaintop.
On the grass sliding slope, some rushed down with their eyes closed, others let out wild shouts.
On the go-kart track, we staged our own version of Fast & Furious – straight-line sprints and stomping on the gas.
On the glass bridge, some clutched the handrails and crept along, while others strode across with arms wide open – a bottomless abyss beneath their feet, but encouragement and mischievous smiles shining in each other's eyes.
In that moment, there were no job titles – just a bunch of overgrown kids having the time of their lives.
02 Mountain Hearth – The "Acting Masters" of Werewolf
As night fell, we checked into a mountain homestay. The day's excitement gradually settled, replaced by the sizzling barbecue on the grill – lamb skewers, chicken wings, corn…
But the real highlight came after dinner: several rounds of Werewolf.
"Close your eyes when it's dark" – that phrase became the code of the night. Every vote was a psychological battle, every statement an impromptu speech. We laughed until our stomachs hurt, and argued until our faces turned red. But we all knew – this kind of unguarded honesty is the team's most precious bond.
03 A Thousand-Year Temple – A Hike Shoulder to Shoulder
The next morning, the mountain air was fresh and crisp. We headed to Lingfeng Temple for a hike.
Hidden deep in the forest, the ancient temple was not easily reached. Stone steps wound up and down, some gentle, some steep. When someone ran low on energy, a hand would quietly reach out. When someone fell behind, someone ahead would always stop and wait.
"Hold on, we're almost there" – different people said it many times, and every time it came from the heart.
When we finally stood before the old temple and looked back at the path we had climbed, we exchanged breathless smiles. Nothing teaches the weight of the word "team" better than walking a hard road together.
At noon, we again enjoyed creative farmhouse cuisine. The owner said it was a new local style – preserving traditional flavors while adding a touch of refinement. Just like our team building: keeping the classic cohesion while infusing it with fresh energy and rapport.
04 Pack the Wind of Anji in Our Bags, Bring the Drive Back to Our Desks
At 3 p.m., the HUNTER team drove back to Shanghai.
Outside the windows, the steel and concrete of the city reappeared; inside, some rested quietly, some scrolled through photos from the past two days, and some had already started discussing next week's work.
Two days, one night – so short that we barely had time to remember every smiling face.
Yet so long that it gave us a chance to truly know each other again – not just as workmates, but as partners who can laugh together, scream together, and give everything for a shared goal.
The best team is the one that waits for you on the way up, stays with you on the way down, and trusts you in a game of Werewolf.
The clouds, mountains, wind, and laughter of Anji remain in May.
And we will carry that energy forward, continuing on this workplace battlefield –
Shoulder to shoulder, giving it our all.
